Research Interest: Paramedic education; extended scope of practice; professionalization; inter-professional working, management of chronic conditions in unscheduled, urgent care;  service-users’ experiences of urgent and emergency health care services; end of life issues; targeted service developments.

Research Methods: Interest and experience of both qualitative and quantitative methodologies including mixed method approaches. Particular expertise in qualitative approaches including ethnography; phenomenology; interpretive description; generic qualitative research.
